Grilled Pineapple

Ingredients for 1 serving:

  • 1 count of whole fresh pineapple
  • 20 grams of unsalted butter
  • 27 grams of honey
  • 18 grams of brown sugar
  • 0.2 grams of cayenne
  • 0.8 grams of salt

Instructions:

  1. Peel, core, and slice a whole pineapple into 1/2-inch (about 1.3 cm) thick pieces. Or you can cut the pineapple into spears. Whichever you prefer.

  2. In a bowl, melt butter. Stir in honey, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, and salt to create a mixture.

  3. Place the pineapple slices in a bowl and pour in the butter mixture. Coat the pineapple evenly.

  4. Heat the grill to a high temperature. Grill the pineapple until they have distinct grill marks. Then, remove the pineapple from the grill and serve.
